You know what? It’s about time.
Why is Jeep the only one allowed to put a bigass motor in a “big luxury SUV”

I do wonder why it took them so damn long. With how popular the Escalade is you’d have thought this would’ve been done as early as the GMT800 generation.

If the GC is getting the hellcat motor, this thing needs more power.
Lets mix up the GM hierarchy with the Escalade at the top of the HP hill.

Soooo, oppo Uber “Group-Buy” time?

Much bigger engine bay, so they better fit it with a much bigger supercharger and twin turbos the size of Texas.
They won’t, but I’d totally rock a 1,500+ HP luxury SUV.

I doubt they’ll ever let that happen. I imagine it’ll be number two or three depending on if it’s tuned for CTS-V for Z06 levels of power.

I don’t see a lot of people on here going for that. There’s a lot of SUV haters here.

Those Real Housewives of Orange County will be able to get to their parties a lot faster now!

I like this idea.

Nonono, Texas oil giants will get to the fields a lot faster when the well erupts now.

The Range Rover Supercharged and Mercedes ML/G/GL63 AMG also offer blown 5+ liter engines.

Excuse me.
Why is Jeep the only American one allowed to put a bigass motor in a “big luxury SUV”
fixed it for ya
![]() 09/10/2015 at 10:27 |

Yeah, it does seem a bit odd.
![]() 09/10/2015 at 10:28 |

So do I, but that can't make me stop dreaming about a 750+HP Escalade.
![]() 09/10/2015 at 10:28 |

Now we just need the 350GT motor stuffed into the lincoln navigator.

Eh, you’re likely right. Just thought it would be awesome to run an Oppo-uber with ridiculous sleeper cars.

I hope they stick the 2300 blower on this one. Easy 700+ hp. Either way, GC and Escalade have a huge difference in size and weight.
Both will be a blast.

Hennessy’s got you up to 1,000 I think. You’re on your own after that.

The Cadillac already has a “bigass motor”, I guess depending if you consider 376 ci bigass, which you may if the 392 is considered bigass.
![]() 09/10/2015 at 10:33 |

that would be pretty awesome.
Forget the muscle car wars, lets have muscle SUV wars. Hahaha
![]() 09/10/2015 at 10:33 |

OK, a factory 750+ Escalade.
Anyone can go to a tuning company. Big power from stock is more special.

I think you know what I meant mr big block.
“bigass output motor”

It’s just funny, a 6.2L V8 putting out over 400hp isn’t enough these days. What an age we live in.
![]() 09/10/2015 at 10:48 |

They’re the only *American* company. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and even Land Rover have been doing this for a few years now.
![]() 09/10/2015 at 10:53 |

This is pretty rad. But it’s going to be quite expensive. An Escalade can already be optioned up to around $105k. I can see a V trim eclipsing $125k without too much effort. But, people will buy it.

Yeah, I fixed that in a reply to a very similar response I got from someone else.
